On Friday, December 11, 2020 at 6:12a.m. Roberta Kay (Eaglin) Bass, 58, left this world to enter into the loving arms of Jesus.
Roberta was born September 23, 1962 to loving parents Wayne and Judy Eaglin. She grew up in Peru and graduated from Peru High School in 1981.
In 2001 she married the love of her life Danny Bass of which they have shared 19 wonderful years together.
She was employed at Kroger in Wabash for 17 years and AVI Foods for 22 years.
When she wasn’t working she enjoyed riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle, walking to her mom’s house every morning to chat before work. She enjoyed traveling the country with Danny and she loved to watch her niece Amanda play softball with her travel team. But the one thing she DID NOT like to do was cook, Danny took care of that.
She is survived by her loving husband Danny Bass and her son, Michael Reed, both of Peru. Also surviving is her mother Judy Curl of Peru; her dad Wayne F. Eaglin of Ohio; a brother, Brad Eaglin (Cindy) of Peru; a sister, Kris Stephens (Rick) of Wabash; a half-sister, Angel Vance (Josh) of Ohio; a step-daughter Abby Bass of Kokomo and a step grand-daughter Alyssa Carr of Kokomo. Her nieces & nephews: Amanda Eaglin; Jonathan Stephens, Carter and Hudson Vance and a special great-nephew, Jadon Stephens.
Those who have met her at the gate are her loving dad Roger D. Curl who adopted and raised her; her grandparents Glen and Lucille Correll and Don and Mary Eaglin.
She will be greatly missed by all who loved her!!!
Visitation will be held from 1pm – 2pm on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Reverend Mark Mowrey officiating. Burial will take place at Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Logansport, Indiana.
